Re: STEVE BARNETT
To Whom it May Concern
Steve designed the lighting for my production of SPARKLESHARK at the Royal National Theatre, and proved that his good reputation as a reliable and efficient electrician quite naturally extends to an impressive designing talent.
He interpreted the brief with accuracy and intelligence, then used his own substantial creativity to transform the plot into something rather rich and wonderful, surpassing all expectations.
It was a tricky production, with very limited lighting time. He rose to the challenge with quiet dedication, was charming to work with, and triumphed.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any job which required both the technical skill of a fine electrician and the eye of a good designer.
Thank you for a fabulous tour to Palermo, we should all be proud of a spectacular concert and significant achievement to enable this show to succeed in Sicily. Your commitment to this project is deeply appreciated. . .
. . . your investment
of time and quality is a measure of the success that this project deserves.
Please accept my appreciation and very best wishes...
